How much will health insurance cost me?

Since each plan has a different price, it is difficult to say how much insurance will cost without first knowing what options and type of coverage you would like. You are welcome to call us or stop by our office, and we will provide a free quote as well as offer advice for choosing a plan. You can also use our quote page on the website by clicking here.

What coverage do you have for maternity?

Most insurance companies have a maternity deductible. Usually it is about $5,000. This means that while you are expecting, you will only have to pay $5,000 of your maternity expenses. Your insurance provider will cover 100% of the additional costs. Be aware, however, that you must be on the insurance plan before you become pregnant. Most insurance companies will not accept applications for any parent who is responsible for an unborn child, regardless of your gender. The key is planning ahead!

What health insurance companies do you represent?

We offer individual plans from IHC and Blue Cross as well as Altius. Short term plans are also available from Fortis.

What is the best company to use?

All companies have excellent plans with comparative rates. Although there are a few variations between them. We can help you choose a plan with the best options to fit your specific needs.

What is the best health plan for me?

With so many choices available, it is difficult to pick one plan that is right for everyone. However, our insurance specialists are happy to meet with you to answer your questions. They can discuss your wants and needs, then help you pick a plan to fit your budget.

  What is a Medical Deductible?

A medical deductible is the amount that you would pay up front for any medical treatment. For example if you have a $500 deductible, when you receive treatment, you would pay the first $500, then the insurance company would start coverage after that.

How much do I pay? / How about the Insurance Company?

As a general rule, most companies split the cost on a 80/20 plan for general coverage. This means that once the deductible. has been paid, the insurance company will cover 80% of the cost and you are responsible for the other 20% up to your out-of-pocket maximum. The insurance company will then cover 100% of the costs.

  What is an Out-of-Pocket Maximum?

Out-of-pocket refers to how much you have to pay. Most policies will limit the total amount that you will be billed to several thousand dollars.

How much coverage do I actually have?

Many policies have a cap with $1,000,000 of coverage over the life of the policy. However, there are policies available with no cap.

  What is Office Co-Pay?

If you have a Co-pay option, you only pay a small fee every time you visit the doctor (usually around $15). The insurance company pays the rest of the cost. Since routine visits can sometimes add up, this helps to save money so you don't have to start paying a deductible. for every visit.

  What is a RX Co-Pay?

This is similar to the office Co-pay in the sense that it is intended to save you money. Rather than pay for the entire prescription, you would only be responsible for a small portion of the cost.

  What is a RX Deductible?

Prescription deductibles are similar to medical deductibles. Anytime you need a prescription filled, you would be responsible to pay the cost up to the deductible. After that the insurance company will split the cost.
