What coverage do you have for maternity? |
| |
|
Most insurance companies have a maternity deductible. Usually it
is about $5,000. This means that while you are expecting, you will
only have to pay $5,000 of your maternity expenses. Your insurance
provider will cover 100% of the additional costs. Be aware, however,
that you must be on the insurance plan before you become pregnant.
Most insurance companies will not accept applications for any parent
who is responsible for an unborn child, regardless of your gender.
The key is planning ahead!
